Renowned for merging cutting edge sounds with vintage accents, Sebo K is both mobilee’s longest serving artist and its beating heart of house music.

Sebo K is a unique and influential figure within Berlin’s densely populated music community; both crowd-pleasing and credible, he is a bona fide tastemaker who distinguishes himself by exploring the connective threads between classics from Chicago and Detroit, and modern European tech house, minimal, and rolling percussive grooves.

Sebo K launched his DJ career in early-90s Berlin, as an integral member of Alec Empire’s Bass Terror, the city’s first UK-style drum & bass and breakbeat club nights. By the middle of the decade Sebo K had fallen under the spell of stateside artists like DJ Sneak, Glenn Underground and Mood II Swing, and his growing love for Chicago house and Detroit techno began to reveal itself within his club appearances throughout the city. Sebo K has been a resident DJ for internationally renowned Berlin club Watergate since 2002, and through his ‘Sebo K and Friends’ nights, his relentless international touring schedule, and with mobilee’s Back Up Vol. 1 and Watergate’s 04 mixes to his credit, a growing legion of fans both close to home and further afield has been captivated by his unique mix of the old and the new.

Despite a relatively limited discography of original productions, quality over quantity has always been the credo for Sebo K. His debut for mobilee, Too Hot, recalled an era of underground warehouse anthems and launched the then-fledgling imprint into the stratosphere. Its follow-up, the instant classic collaboration with Anja Schneider, Rancho Relaxo, established Sebo K as the up-and-comer worthy of close attention, further cemented by his breakout hits “Diva” on mobilee, and “Saxtrack” for Cecille. Alongside his timeless original productions, Sebo K has remixed some of the most respected labels and artists on the planet, including Poker Flat, Mule Electronic, Radioslave and Efdemin.

Effortlessly transitioning from deep soulfulness, to tough stripped-down sounds, and back again, Sebo K has reinforced the enduring importance of house music throughout the perpetual cycles of trends, and this ability to command a club crowd has been equaled by his exceptional productions.

As Sebo K continues on his journey with mobilee, his rising tide of successes reflects the the vision, passion, and love of music that drives him and the extended mobilee team in all that they do, and all that will come.

A huge shout to everyone who came down to see Marcel Fengler tear up Basing House for our December party – by far the best event we’ve ever done.

Make Me are moving things forward in a big way in 2012 and keeping up the lineup pressure with some of the most respected names in underground club music.

Kicking off the year we have two of North America’s finest laying down the beats:

DVS1 – Hush, Klockworks

DVS1’s meteoric rise over the past few years has been nothing short of astonishing. The shift from local hero DJ/producer/promoter in the US mid-west to solo releases on Ben Klock’s Klockworks imprint and extended sets at Berghain is quite a transition, but one that is richly deserved.

His DJ philosophy is that genre distinctions aren’t important—the emotional content of the music is. This focus is readily apparent in the way he moves crowds—both literally and figuratively by fusing together sounds that paint coherent, evocative, and powerful moods that are always appropriate for the time and place he is playing.

We’ll be giving Zak 3 hours on the Basing House Funktion 1 rig to show us what all the fuss is about.

Bill Patrick – Supplement Facts

This is a man who knows how to move a dancefloor.

After a long stint in New York playing at such seminal venues as The Limelight, Vinyl and Arc, Bill is finally beginning to build the international reputation he so richly deserves.

We first saw him play back in August in a strip club in Bethnal Green. Quite the introduction, and without doubt it was one of the most accomplished sets that we saw in the whole of 2011. House, techno, rnb, whatever it was the place was going off for the duration.

After probably the best party in our 3 years, our birthday in November really set the bar. Massive out to all you lovely lot who made it so rowdy and a here's a little peak for those that missed...
http://vimeo.com/33665442

But new year, new start and all... so we are set to take things up higher in 2012 with a selection to out bunga anything dubious Italian prime ministers can muster. First up is an undisputed legend in electronic music, the mighty Chez Damier. Chicago born, Detroit bred, he is a keystone in the history of both house and techno. In support will be a special joint session from our main man Richard Adam and sometime esteemed guest and good friend Josh Silver, who have taken their double act out of the after party and rocked it on both sides of London.

CHEZ DAMIER

KMS, The Music Institute, Prescription Records... these pivotal moments are why Chez Damier is considered one of the most important and influential figures in the scene, whilst a catalog that includes the likes of 'Morning Factory', 'I Feel Rhythm' and of course 'Can You Feel It' are not only stone cold classics but are held up as unparalleled exemplars of the house music genre.

Every nascent music scene needs an outlet and when Chez opened the Music Institute in Detroit in the late 80's it proved just as important for the development of techno in the city as The Warehouse and The Music Box in Chicago. After managing the KMS studio and label for Kevin Saunderson, he returned to his hometown of Chicago and alongside Ron Trent created a true musical legacy. The early 90's saw Chez N Trent's seminal releases on their own Prescription imprint craft a brand new blueprint, and define a sound for what would become known as deep house. After an extended break from the industry, the man is back is back in full effect. With a series of releases on German label Mojuba and his own Balance Alliance project, it is his triumphant return to the decks that is cementing his legendary status as a DJ. 2011 has seen him grace the likes of Rex, Panorama Bar and Tokyo's Eleven club and we are chomping at the bit to host a very special 3hr live performance

New Year brings new hope and spirits. It always represents a new beginning, things which we could not complete in the past year, some new promises and ways to make our lives more beautiful. 2011 was a real bliss for me, taking into account the music, the vibe, the emotions, the moments, you and Voyage. Something happened that night before Christmas at the Basing House. Thanks to all of you for coming and thanks to our guest Voigtmann who created our beautiful trip. That night we had 5 hours and it seems it was not enough so here we go again, next Voyage is taking place on Saturday night 21st of January with two additional hours. Since last time we were all left with that taste of ‘we want more’ we got Voigtmann to return and with him another special guest, Oskar Offermann. The opportunity to book Oskar could not be left aside as not only I am impressed by his productions on his own label ‘White’ and others such as ‘Aim’ but I was blown away by his great performance at Toi Toi alongside Edward in December. I am looking forward to sharing that with you, which I am very sure, will take us on another Voyage.

Mooch 3rd Birthday Bash

September’s party witnessed Mobilee hero And.Id shaking the club to its very foundations, with feedback from the dance-floor overwhelmingly positive we're returning back to East London's intimate Basing House for our 3rd birthday bashment. Over the years we have invited down no less than 33 djs to come and play to our ever expanding Mooch familia, prime underground talent who have taken us all on musical journeys from the familiar to the unknown and back again keeping in tune to the groove we promote. For our 3rd birthday we required an artist that can cover all angles of house & techno, someone that can take us from A to Z with some deep groove and techy loops for good measure. So without further ado please raise your glasses as we introduce...

Tim Xavier [Clink - Berlin]

Tim Xavier's passion for music has kept him on the forefront of techno since his innovative releases on Blueline in Chicago a decade ago. His career began in Houston in the 90s, and then on to Chicago, Brooklyn and now Berlin, where he has resided since 2007. He is a veteran to the industry; and his dark, edgy production style has remained uncompromised through the ever changing genres of techno and house. He is also the owner and chief engineer at Manmade Mastering in Berlin; and this sleepy-eyed coffee addict defines cool as he cuts master plates for many respected record labels.

Tim’s music has been charted and played by leading artists around the world, and he has worked with many labels such as Cocoon, Minus, Sci-Tec, Podium, Timefog, Little Helpers, Sleaze, Droid Behavior and many more. He is also the owner of his own imprint, LTD400, works with partner Camea on her imprint Clink Recordings and with Tony Rohr as the ‘Afternoon Coffee Boys’.

On Stage, Tim’s current performances include a mixture of DJing, Live and Effects manipulation, carrying out his visionas he sees fit. He creates a unique experience with his maximal sound quality and music selection, in which he combines loops and pieces from his own production. He is regularly on tour and performing across the globe, capturing his audiences with his signature sound. Tim's relentless devotion to providing cutting edge audio continues to keep him on the forefront of innovative dance music, and as he continues to grow it is apparent that we have still yet to see the best of his work.

Getting stuck right into that jelly and ice-cream from the start your trusty residents Natalie Coleman, Ed Jones and Nick walters will be dishing out techno bumps and performing some extra special rave moves on the night for all our Mooch familiar.

So here we go, it's time for second trip into sound exploration. This time I would like to give you a piece of a voyage, which I have been in myself for the last few months. VOIGTMANN - I discovered Claus in the beginning of the year and I can easily say he is one of my favourite artists. Seeing him play for the first time blew me away, he grabbed me immediately. I have been impressed by the way he presents music. Being it a warm-up deep set or a peak time set, he always manages to create a story whereby he brings the dancefloor into a trip with him exposing skills that go way beyond choosing tracks, but the structure given track by track and his interaction with the crowd through music and feeling. It is with pleasure that I welcome you to this special Voyage at the Basing House and I believe it will help to create a truly festive Christmas mood.

London's leading vinyl specialist returns with their very own Christmas party at the recently revamped Basing House in Shoreditch.

Since opening in 2003, Phonica Records has bulit up a reputation as a hub for electronic musicians and fans – it’s a hive of excitement and activity for vinyl lovers who come from all over the UK & Europe. Former staff include Heidi, who now has her own show on Radio 1, Hector (Mobilee & 2020 Vision), Anthea (Cecille & Mojuba), Will Saul and James Priestley (Secretsundaze) – it’s like a who’s who of dance music!

We're very pleased to have Will Saul as our guest this Christmas. Willl is a busy man, to say the least. While producing his own material he manages to run two labels; Simple Records and AUS Music, one for more techno and house variations and the other for the hair-splitting bass genres that are melding the minds of tomorrow. In between the vast amount of music that surrounds him, Saul spins sets that are known for their uncanny atmosphere within deep grooves of classic bass, kicks and snares. This year Aus have given us tracks from Scuba, Midland, Cottam, Ramadanman & Appleblim (with its huge Carl Craig mix) and are one of the best labels of the year!

Young British producer BNJMN has recently released his debut album on the best techno label in the world at the moment, Amsterdam's Rush Hour. Pushing the envelope of experimentalism within electronica, the soundscapes of BNJMN’s debut album ’Plastic World’ are deep, intrinsically melodic and densely layered. Intelligently referencing the early 90’s whilst still sounding totally contemporary, the young artist deftly treads a hybrid ground between house, techno and dubstep.

Reviews of the album called his a ‘future sound’; ‘blindingly strong and cohesive’; ‘an entirely new kind of dance music experience’; ‘utterly now’. The sound created is vast both sonically and musically, creating a world of its own and possessing of a maturity that belies his 23 years. Luminaries Norman Nodge, Steffi, Surgeon and Deetron all offered support, amongst others. We are very pleased he will be joining us to play a live set, ending a year when he has become one of Phonica's biggest sellers.

All supported by Phonica regulars Simon Rigg, The Vangelis and Soho who should need no introduction...

.Not each bride includes a family willing to pay more for the total wedding.

Then you will want to decide the type of ring to obtain. One thing you need to investigate is the chance that your bride may have allergies to some types associated with metal. You would not want your ring to show her digit green. There's a lot of stores that supply a standard ring, though not everyone is traditional. There's a lot of alternatives towards old fashioned diamond engagement ring

. I do it both online and offline because of the challenge of working and managing people, but most of us do not need to. A one man proprietorship is all that is needed to earn few thousand dollars in commissions or in generated income from single or bulk sales on a weekly and monthly basis.

For starters you do not have to wake-up at 6:00am or even earlier like many of my neighbors and work until death do us part. That is supposed to be for life, but for marriage- not for income and definitely not as a life

Suol and Pastamusik star Daniel Bortz plays his first ever London gig this December. GetDownGood invite one of Germany’s most innovative producers Daniel Bortz to headline their party at Shoreditch’s Basing House.

Hailing from Munich, Bortz’s star has risen dramatically over the last year, with flawless releases on Suol, Circle Music and Keinerechte establishing him as an artist of the very highest calibre. His 'The One' EP on Suol in particular stood out as one of the finest examples of emotive deep house this year, and as part of the Suol family, Daniel has regularly performed at their acclaimed label night at Berlin’s Watergate.

With a steadily building reputation and forthcoming releases on Patstamusik as well as a remix of DJ T’s ‘Leavin’ Me’ about to drop on Get Physical, Bortz has set out his stall as one of the leading lights of the European house scene.

Supporting on the night will be GetDownGood residents Greg Sawyer, Tom Bulwer – who hosts the weekly 2Deep radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio – and London’s Anna Wall, who is fast becoming well known her deeply hypnotic sets.

The venue for the night is London’s Basing House. Situated on Kingsland Road, in the very heart of Shoreditch, this 300 capacity late-licensed venue geared towards parties of a more clandestine, intimate nature, and comes decked out with a Funktion 1 sound system; the ideal party space for GetDownGood.

This will be Daniel’s first ever London gig and promises to be a very special night.

NYE at the Basing House….An Intimate Affair.

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the first New Years Eve party in the Basing House since it undertook its amazing refurbishment. If you haven’t already witnessed the debauchery which takes place when this little brickwork jungle is in full swing, then now is your time. We will be limiting the tickets to 300 to keep it a nice, intimate affair and to ensure that the bar, toilets etc are not overcrowded and unbearable.

For this party we will be welcoming two amazing headliners in the shape of Miguel Campbell and Alex Arnout. Also on the line up we have the amazing Cammille and the deep'art boys who have been creating waves this summer with their dj sets and parties.

Miguel Campbell (Hot Creations / wolf+lamb / No.19)

Miguel has been galvanised by the house music scene since the early 90's and has also been a DJ since that time. Miguel began producing his own music as one 'half' of the underground duo HCB.

In 2006 he founded his own label: Outcross Records™

In 2010 he became the newest addition to the Hot Creations™ team.

‘Baby I got It’ and ‘Something Special, Sexy, Wonderful' were both huge tracks on the underground this year, even prior to the EP's release which see him claim #1 on the overall Beatport Chart. And with a forthcoming Hot Creations album, Miguel simply has some of the most exciting music around at the moment.

Alex Arnout (Dogmatik / Hot Waves / Fuse)

Having started his DJ career in Spain, and in the humble surroundings of many a local bar, the nineties were spent learning the basic skills so often lacking in today’s break-through ‘DJs’. Eventually catching the ear of someone that mattered, Arnout began playing more familiar outposts like DC: 10 and Pin Up in Ibiza, Dance Valley in Amsterdam and Circo Loco in London. On top of that, his finely sequenced journeys through all things house have also won him a residency at London’s definitive Sunday session, Fuse, as well as gigs at the most revered of them all... fabric.

deep’art

Glen Revell & Chris Ware's dedication to House, Disco & Techno results in an unrivalled DJ performance. Gigging under the alias of deep'art this duo have embraced the recent renaissance in house music and are starting to work their way up the ranks. A side from dj'ing, these guys have established a party in London which has been showcasing some of the finest producers and DJ's around. They are also getting to grips with a sound in the studio with some hot releases expected in 2012....

**FULL LINE UP**

Miguel Campbell (Hot Creations / wolf+lamb / No.19)

After a short break Bad Apple London are back and this time at their new home Basing House!

Alongside the Bad Apple residents we are very excited to bring you two very special DJ's - Hector & Alex Arnout

"Bad Apple is a party that has been put in place to showcase and represent underground House music for true party people.
Our music policy is deep, Tech house & Techno with our residents being joined by established special guests"

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Hector (Mobilee / Desolat Berlin)

Effortlessly balancing a will to experiment with an unwavering commitment to the founding spirit of house, mobilee’s Hector is one of electronic music’s most exciting up-and-comers.
Mixing up styles and moods, but always focused firmly on the dancefloor’s needs and desires, Hector’s sets have energy, precision and most of all, soul. Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Hector took to the decks at the age of 16 after experiencing sets by visiting European DJs. Inspired by the likes of Carl Craig, Moodymann, the Timewriter & Terry Lee Brown Jnr, Hector soon realized that his future lay in music.

After a DJ residency with Bar Americas, one of Mexico’s premier clubs, Hector headed for England; he fell for the capital’s thriving music scene and has remained there ever since. Spinning during Ibiza’s summer season, he befriended Simon Rigg, boss of Phonica Records - the nucleus of London’s house and techno community - and started working at the Soho store upon his return to the UK. Hector’s knowledge and infectious passion for cutting-edge music transformed him into one of the shop’s most recognizable faces, and he was the first producer to launch Phonica’s in-house label in 2009.

Hector has notched up a series of high profile releases, including his breakthrough 12” La Raza for Dinky’s Horizontal imprint, the Piano Hispano EP with Pablo Cahn, and Hispanic Causing Panic for 8bit. As well as contributing the track “Keep O” to the Hi Five mobilee anniversary compilation, Hector has made his mark with the defining Berlin imprint via Got Fringe, a complex, stomping, vocal-fueled percussive pair of tracks that fuses slower house tempos with an irresistible Latin swing. Hector’s journey is only just beginning, with future releases planned for mobilee, DJ gigs further and further afield, the first compilation for Ibiza’s The Zoo Project in the pipeline, and the development of a new alias, Los Vatos, which will explore different shades of music from disco to hip hop with live vocals.

As both a producer and DJ, Hector nods to house music’s past and fully engages with its future, driven by the same vision, passion, and love of music that drives the extended mobilee team in all that they do, and all that will come.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Alex Arnout (One Records / Hot Creations)

Alex Arnout is a slow burning star with over 20 years experience behind him. Having started his DJ career in Spain, and in the humble surroundings of many a local bar, the nineties were spent learning the basic skills so often lacking in today’s break-through ‘DJs’. Eventually catching the ear of someone that mattered, Arnout began playing more familiar outposts like DC: 10 and Pin Up in Ibiza, Dance Valley in Amsterdam and Circo Loco in London, for whom he has been resident for the last few years. On top of that, his finely sequenced journeys through all things house have also won him a residency at London’s definitive Sunday session, Fuse, as well as gigs at fabric.

A pure passion for 4/4 (which has been burning ever since first hearing House Sounds of Chicago albums in the mid eighties) naturally lead Alex to begin experimenting with his beloved sound in the studio. Over the course of the last decade, the fruits of said labours have been bountiful: there have been releases alongside Daz I Kue from Bugs in the Attic; with an old school friend by the name of Leiam Sullivan as Ceramix (with whom he remixed Peace Division and Low End Specialists and earned a No.1 on Pete Tong’s Essential Buzz chart with 'Can You Dance?') and more recently under his given name on Adam Shelton and Subb-an’s fast-rising Brum label, One Records. The track was 'Vanishing Point' - a prowling deep house record lapped up by the likes of Visionquest that is indicative of his analogue aesthetic overall.

Aiming simply to “make great music”, there have also been collabs with Jamie Jones and Clive Henry for the hotter-than-hot Hot Waves crew, whilst EPs for Composite and Vitalik and another collaborative effort with Clive - this time as Black to The Future - have also been confirmed and can be added to the myriad Arnout reworks included on the recent Rebel Rave compilation on Crosstown Rebels.

Acclaimed label Hypercolour set up stall at the Basing House for a 10 - hour house and techno affair. On the line - up are all the usual suspects, including head honcho and ultra talented DJ and producer Alex Jones. Just to keep things interesting, they have also asked along a very special secret guest, who we know when announced, will raise many a smile. If that wasn't enough, entrance for the night will be a paltry zero pence. Yes that's right, Free Entry all night long.

Hypercolour Site: http://www.hypercolour.co.uk/

The Label...

Hypercolour and it's digital cousin, the imaginatively titled Hypercolour Digital were set up in 2006 by DJ/Promoters Alex Jones and Jamie "Cedric Maison" Russell and has subsequently released tracks and remixes from the likes of Glimpse, Frankie Flowerz, Dan Berkson, Agnes, Kris Wadsworth, Plasmik and many more to the delight of fans of underground house and techno the world over.

Both passionate DJs, Russell and Jones felt the need to create a home for much of the unheard music pushed in their direction by friends, colleagues and acquaintances met through their gruelling schedule of promoting nights, DJing and exploring the benefits of cock-nose comedy glasses and inebriated Sunday mornings. Despite Jones and Russell's ability to avoid taking life seriously, Hypercolour quickly became a serious imprint picking up high profile fans and has become one of the most refreshing, interesting and dependable outlets for skewed, slightly left-of-centre electronic music.

With a small but dedicated roster of talent artists including Jones himself (in between releases for the likes of Kindisch, Turbo and more), Tom Demac, Glimpse and Frankie Flowerz, Hypercolour's biggest selling point has been the avoidance of trends and themes, resulting in true freedom for the artists and something continually different for record buyers, djs and clubbers. This near belligerent attitude about providing something different is more than apparent in the two A&Rs DJ sets and the frequent Hypercolour nights around its London base, too.

Going forward, details of Hypercolour's roster and output is anyone's guess, but there's no doubt that it will be surprising and quality in equal measure.

The Venue...

The Basing House is a welcome edition to East London's thriving bar and club scene. Situated on Kingsland Road, in the very heart of Shoreditch, this 300 capacity late-licensed venue is the ideal setting for parties of a more clandestine nature. Each weekend features an array of curated events where you can look forward to hearing music supplied in it's finest form by a number of renowned DJ's, brands and record labels. With its exposed brickwork, intimate environment, devastating Funktion 1 sound system and a dedication to underground music, the Basing House has all the right ingredients for a big night out. In addition we also have a lovely little roof garden for those of you who wish to take a little break from the main room and grab some fresh air.

Needwant deliver an extra special line up on Saturday 12th November bringing together two label artists Robert Owens and Nicholas for an all night low slung house music affair.

The first party since hosting London club Fabric back in July, this event is yet again set in a raw underground space and with a passion for creative and underground line ups, Basing House. The soundtrack is aptly programmed for the location as Needwant present both the new and old school purveyors of true house music. First legendary Chicago vocalist Robert Owens, behind some of the most seminal dance classics ever created, joined by rising star and Italian producer Nicholas.

Anyone familiar with house music, or rather the history of the genre, will know Robert Owen’s name well. Gaining the nickname ‘The Voice of House’ for his legendary status Robert is credited with pioneering the Chicago House sound back in the 80s and producing such classics as 'I'll Be Your Friend' to 'It's Over'. This will be a brilliant chance to catch Robert Owens singing live alongside some of his favourite classic tracks.

Joining Mr. Owens on this glance both back and forwards at the golden age of house will be young Italian producer Nicholas. At 25 years old, Nicholas has the kind of house sounds that you would more likely expect from someone twice his age. He can’t help make his army of fans wonder how he manages to make his sound so authentic, so that every edit, remix or production really sounds like it’s from the late eighties or early nineties, but then somehow capturing the sound of 2011. He is one of the key artists driving a fresh wave of interest in the classic house era and tonight he plays a special Live set into the early hours.

This isn’t the first time the two great minds have met, having earlier collaborated on the recent Needwant release ‘OneBody’. Owens supplied the vocal while Nicholas created the unforgettable slow house groove. Tonight is also the preview of the much anticipated re-edited Nu Groove collection that Nicholas has been working on for the past few months. Taking one of the most classic New York house labels of the late nineties and updating the sound for 2011. To be released on Needwant in December.

Joining the headliners will be another name familiar to those on the London house scene. Needwant label head Sean Brosnan who after three years of running Needwant has turned it into a sought after label in DJs record collections the world over, with over twenty specially crafted releases to date.

At Clocked our main focus is creating nights people will come away from and having the best time possible, something we can be proud of and enjoy with you! We are therefore so proud and humble to introduce our two headliners for our next party, Gavin Herlihy (Leftroom/ Culprit), and Nico Lahs.

Not only are we excited and eager to hear these two geniuses, but we have a venue parallel to the protagonists. Basing House, in the heart of Shoreditch, is an intimate venue that boasts a beautifully deep and intense atmosphere, coupled with sincere sound produced by the infamous FunKtion one system.

True music lovers will appreciate the two headliners we have for you, and they need no introduction or bio. However it would do them a disservice for those a little less familiar to not be given that grace.

Gavin Herlihy -

Gavin Herlihy’s discography reads like a Connect the Dots game for some of underground house and techno’s most important labels. Two EPs on Cocoon, two EPs on Cadenza and tracks and remixes for Get Physical, Buzzin Fly, Leftroom, Supernature and Kindisch are just some of the milestones in his career as a producer so far.

Now living in Leeds, the Irish born, one time Londoner and recent Berliner is an established player on the global DJ circuit. A two year stint cutting his teeth as a producer in Berlin notched up gigs at the Panorama Bar, Watergate, Bar 25 and in 2010 his tracks were championed by a diverse array of DJs from Seth Troxler and Dyed Soundorom to Pete Tong.

Gavin’s DJ mixes have found homes in a long list of taste-making stations and podcasts including Ibiza Voice, Allez Allez, Berlin’s Electronic Beats Radio, Carl Cox's Global radio show, Kiss 100, Galaxy FM among others. And as remixers go, few producers can count a job as big as remixing the title track for Unkle’s third album as their debut remix.

It seems a long way since his acclaimed debut ‘Machine Ate My Homework’ in 2006, now generally considered to be a classic of the 2000s. But his roots in dance music lie much deeper than that. A seven year stint as a dance music journalist gave him a pivotal role in introducing artists like Ricardo Villalobos to the global media stage. Before that his teenage years were spent lost in the experimental rock of bands like Sonic Youth, Rage Against The Machine and Fugazi before uncovering electronic music during an eye opening festival pilgramage to England at the tender age of 14. During this pivotal trip he remembers in particular hearing early drum ’n’ bass on a north London pirate radio station. “It sounded like the future being beamed down the radio waves,” he says. "And I've been chasing it ever since."

Nico Lahs -

A mind focused in the future in every sense, characterized by a high sense of professionally. These are maybe the best words to describe Nico Lahs, young musician of worldwide's underground music scene.
It's the tale of a child full of dreams, a tale about his love for drums grew up til today, becoming a true complete symbiosis with music at 360°. Nico's figure is complex like a puzzle, the result of a youth written by experiences and extremes hardly recognizable in common places. Behind his deep expression he hides at one side the charm of a party animal and on the other side the perfect accuracy of the pure musician; all features that leave, in a way or another, an unforgettable sign in every person who gets in contact with him.

With a so particular personality and a always strong desire of freshness Nico is able to transform every performance, every set in every contest, unique in its own way. Today his music is appreciated and supported by the biggest professionals and lovers of the international underground scene: a clear sign that the role of this musician in the future's global panorama will be as an absolute protagonist.

If you wasn't sure of whom these two were before, we're sure you'll want to hear them now. A magnitude of experience, class, carisma, and artistry awaits.

As well as our two headliners, we have our Clocked residents; Billy Stock, Tommy Wall, Christian Browne, and Lewis Chenery. In summary, a team of house music obsessives. They even snore at around 120 BPM, maybe 125 after a heavy night out.

After 3 epic parties in Kings Cross we’re moving back to Shoreditch and into one of London’s best new clubs – Basing House. A stripped back space complete with a devastating Funktion 1 system, perfect for Make Me. As ever over the next few months we’ll be bringing some of the world’s most highly regarded underground DJs to this small intimate venue.

Kicking things off with our November party, we’re hugely excited to be hosting one of the true masters of house music.

TRUS'ME

Trus’me, has seen tremendous success since the release of his debut LPs ‘Working Nights’ and‘In The Red’. Always maintaining an unmistakably deep, sexy and raw edge, his sets have often been compared to Moodymann as he plays across genres effortlessly and shows off his versatility and ability to read the crowd.

Having grown up in Manchester on a diet of hip-hop and rare groove, Trus’me brings a whole raft of influences to his productions and DJ sets, always playing tracks from ’every corner of the record shop’ and bringing something fresh that clubbers jaded with strict adherence to 4:4 beats will appreciate.

WILDKATS

One of the newest additions to the Hot Creations label, Wildkats are a production collective formed in East London when Edinburgh DJ's Stuart Sandeman & Scott Dickie met US import Corey Baker.

Since their incenption last summer, their tracks have caught the attention of some of the biggest names in the dance music community with support from Hot Natured, Wolf + Lamb & Crosstown Rebels. All of which have tried and tested these across some of the globes most proliphic dancefloors including Sonar, Burning Man, Glastonbury and Ibiza's mecca DC10.A Make Me favourite. Their slick mix of deep, bass-driven house and disco grooves, guaranteed to get our party going.

Make Me residents RUPES and NIC BAIRD will also be bringing the noise.

Bread & Butter welcomes for the second time the Greek talent Alex Celler. Acquiring success in the spring of 2009 with the release one of the year’s biggest dancefloor tracks, the last twelve months has seen an amazing run of productions from Alex Celler; his is a story of talent married to dedication and resulting in increasing success.

With its catchy hook and stylish lustre, ‘La Palma’ (Arearemote) was one of RA’s most charted tracks following its release and undoubtedly marked a turning point in Alex’s career. Follow-up releases ‘Trapped in Dub’ (Tuning Spork) and ‘North London Cutz’ (Cinematic) have helped rapidly cement an energetic and intense tech house sound full of swing, tribal rhythms & deep basslines. Meanwhile, the ‘Anthea & Celler’ bombs which arrived (with friend and fellow Londoner Anthea) on Cecille and Freak n Chic have afforded them both notable exposure and also the opportunity to take their partnership out on the road, courtesy of their back-to-back DJ sets. This is a partnership that is close to the hearts of both.

A Greek national by right but a Londoner by choice, Alex’s distinctive DJ style hints towards an obsessive attitude to crate digging – playing out an impressive blend of rare, old and modern tracks, his precise intuition for the right record on the dancefloor mirrors his own love of the party atmosphere.

Durable productions and mood-changing DJ sets have seen Alex feature as guest around the globe at respected parties at Ibiza's Underground, Amnesia and Space as well as others including Trouw (Amsterdam), Studio Martin (Bucharest), Arma 17 (Moscow) and at home in London - where he has become a main player in the city’s underground house scene, guesting regularly at Fabric and T-Bar.

The coming summer season will see Alex play at the Space Opening Fiesta in Ibiza, and dish out releases on Arearemote, Cecille, air london and on Lauhaus’ increasingly slick label Soweso. Collaborations abound - with Lauhaus himself and the latest Cecille EP with Anthea.

enquiries@basinghouse.co.uk

After being treated to a pair of colossal outings from guests Kenny Larkin and Jon Rust at our sell out Basing House debut, we return to close the Summer in true style. Representing the sounds of NYC is a pillar of the house and techno community, Ibadan label boss Jerome Sydenham. In addition we welcome one of the brightest and original lights in UK house music right now, co founder of the increasingly influential homegrown stable Hypercolour, Alex Jones. And finally, setting the tone will be our own, Richard Adam.

JEROME SYDENHAM
Schooled by the streets and clubs of New York, Jerome’s illustrious music career took off in the late 80’s working in A&R at Atlantic Records with the likes of En Vogue and Das EFX, all the while his interest in the underground house scene was burgeoning. In 1995 Jerome formed the label Ibadan and his DJ career went international collaborating and touring with then emerging producers and now legends Joe Claussell and Kerri Chandler.

By the millennium he was pioneering a fresh tech house sound with co producer Dennis Ferrer bringing depth and warmth to undeniable club smashes such as Sandcastles and Swimming Places (both Defected) and Timbuktu on his own Ibadan imprint. Indeed his seminal label has released for just about every major electronic music artist from the likes of Carl Craig, Cassy, Adam Beyer and Francois K to Gilles Peterson, Kraftwerk and even Pink Floyd

Most recently he has moved to Berlin fusing his transatlantic roots with the most cutting edge European influences and taking his Ibadan nights all around the world. With the ability to take it from the harder edge of techno and rolling tech house to blissed out deepness and big anthemic moments in the classic vein, we can’t wait to witness this hugely versed and respected tactician.

ALEX JONES
Since cutting his teeth at the Big Beat Boutique, creating the infamous Retox after party, and now label boss of Hypercolour alongside Jamie Russell, Alex Jones has established himself as versatile DJ and producer delivering sharp, modern house and techno with a distinctly trippy edge. Whilst his early residencies at the Boutique and Retox saw him play alongside heavyweights such as Radioslave, Luciano, M.A.N.D.Y and Jamie Jones, it was the creation of his label Hypercolour that really thrust Alex into the limelight. With a real eye for the diverse and the sublime, dropping releases from the likes of Glimpse, Maya Jane Coles, Kris Wadsworth and Tom Demac, it has become one of most talked about and refreshing outfits to have emerged from London’s fervent scene.

We have found a pretty fitting venue that have kindly let us invade them for the night. Basing House is a brand new critically acclaimed 300 person venue in the heart of Shoreditch.

In keeping with all things Gottwood it sports intriguing décor, an outdoor terrace, a meaty Funktion 1 System' and a late 4am license.

We got the vibe that bass and groove were two things that the party needed. So, put a slice of dub-step, a spoonful of house and a corner of techno into the blender and what do you get… The genre abusing Midland.

He's one of the UK's most talked about new-comers and is slowly cementing himself amongst the fabric of the UK underground scene. We honestly don't know what's going to get dropped but we do know it's going to be a big, deep, loud and bumby two hour roller coaster!

Either side of that, and fresh off the back of a whole host of festival appearances this summer, Gottwoods very own eLDOKO is doing a two set special. Expect his usual deep, fun, swinging tech house from 12 till 1, and something a little bit different for part deux!

And finally, doing the warm up honours are the the regular Bristol BlowPop residents Real Nice. They are well known to most of the Gottwood faithful, and have played many festivals this year, including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and Standon Calling. We've given them strict instructions to wheel out the party tunes. We've experienced the full force of their record box before… there wont be many stones left unturned!

If the feedback so far is anything to go by we honestly urge you to get your tickets early. They are limited to 300 and last year Gottboat sold out well in advance, plus the earlier you get on it the cheaper it is:

Tickets (Limited to 300):

For the next installment in our brick-work jungle, we are bringing over Franco Bianco to play live in the UK for the first time in over 3 years.

Since his first steps, Franco Bianco has been related to music and since then he has polished a personal sound. Though he is an electronic musician orientated to the dance floor, his work covers from ambient or music to listen at home, to techno music merged with folk, country or tango. That’s why he has been mentioned as the Danny Boyle of electronic music by some European media.

His music took him on worldwide tours (from Australia to Lebanon, through Japan and Egypt), with more than 170 presentations in 27 different countries in the last 4 years. In Europe there have been queues to see his shows and in countries like Cyprus he is a referent of the electronic music scene. His YouTube videos and social networking pages have great amount of visits, and he frequently does interviews for local media of the countries he is visiting. His vinyl records (the last two being sold out) are played by international artists like Argentinean Hernan Cattaneo, French Laurent Garnier or mythical American DJ Danny Tenaglia, among others.

Every year, from November until the end of December, he organizes a South American tour. He has played in Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Dominican Republic and in Argentinean mega festivals like Telecom Personal Fest (2004 edition) as well as the last 3 editions of Creamfields Buenos Aires (2008, 2009 and 2010). In Europe, he also played at the well known Circle of Love Festival, in Germany (2010 edition).(http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=DR1uUhiYeaE)

Franco Bianco presents "Jorge Drexler Remixes LIVE! Tour" that will take him over 7 European cities during September, introducing the album with danceable versions of the Oscar-winning Uruguayan songwriter.

In this respect, Franco Bianco (half of Benedetti & Bianco alongside Nacho) speaks as follows: "With Nacho, we are totally in love with this project that took us 3 years of intens...e twists and turns, where we got to take to dance Jorge Drexler electronically, along with two artists we admire, such as Jesper Dahlback from Sweden and the Canadian Mike Shannon." Now is the time for touring Europe, but above all, it's time to have fun!

"Jorge Drexler Remixes" is a project born out of permanent concern of its creators to musicalize the dance floor, without complexes or gender distinctions. As you will see, Orthodoxy does not fit in these two South American, but consistency, the intimate harmony with the spirit of Drexler. Franco is the indicated for the task of touring the old continent, to present this record (on Vinyl, Digital and CD format) which will find him very busy during the month of September, in seven different European cities. Ladies and Gentlemen... it's time to dance!

The confirmed shows are as follows:

• 28.08 @ Bullitt, Munich, Germany

Also on the line up is our very own badboy Oli Forster. He will be playing a special b2b set with Massimo Licari. If you have been down to Basing House over the past few months you might have been lucky enough to witness these two talented dj's in action together.

Completing the line-up is Detail resident & Act Natural co-founder Brad Brown. Keep an eye-out for his Act Natural imprint. They have been releasing some special material including Huxley's Shower Scene EP, which was recently MixMag's tune of the month. The third release from Act Natural Records, Micha Klang's 'When We Dance' E.P, with a Kevin Griffiths remix is out now on beatport.

As usual, the sound will be provided by Funktion One ;-).
